Penn Fan’s line of Drum fans are very similar to our Type-M unit; the difference being the motor and fan blades are both housed inside the body of the fan.  The drum style body offers the same wide range of cooling capabilities as the Type-M fan, but with the added feature of greater air direction. This helps condition difficult to reach areas and provides even greater spot cooling of equipment, processes and people.  Drum fans provide maximum durability in the harshest of working environments. Penn Fan’s Drum fans were designed, engineered and built with industries such as steel mills, forges, foundries and melt shops in mind.
